Celebrating Francophone Heritage at NSFS: Honoring Ariane Ogier at the 2026 Gala

Every year, our Gala brings families, alumni, and community partners together to celebrate bilingual education and the people who help make it thrive. This year, we’re especially proud to highlight an individual whose dedication has deeply shaped the Francophone community in Seattle.

We are excited to announce that the North Seattle French School annual Gala will take place on February 27th, 2026 at the Hyatt Olive 8. This year’s theme, “FrancoFun,” will celebrate the vibrancy of Francophone culture and the joy of community connection.

Since its founding in 2013, NSFS has grown from the vision of a small group of bilingual families to a thriving, internationally diverse school representing more than 30 nationalities. Our mission continues to center curiosity, cultural exchange, and the transformative impact of bilingual education.

This year, we are thrilled to recognize Ariane Ogier, Honorary Consul of France in Washington State, as our inaugural Guest of Honor.

NSFS’ Head of School, Jennifer Annable, shared, “Her leadership and dedication have strengthened the cultural and educational fabric of our region. From her support of French citizens and French immersion schools to her advocacy for cultural events and cross-cultural exchange, she embodies the spirit of openness and connection that defines our school. We are deeply honored to celebrate her at this year’s Gala.”

Ariane Ogier’s contributions are far-reaching: supporting thousands of French citizens, leading within the French-American Chamber of Commerce of the Pacific Northwest, championing Seattle’s French Fest, and founding Ici Seattle, a bilingual magazine that amplifies local Franco-American connections.

We look forward to an inspiring evening dedicated to community, culture, and the shared values that unite the Francophone and Seattle communities.

We hope you’ll join us for an evening full of FrancoFun, inspiration, and community connection.
