Anne-Marie CanisSubstitute Teacher

    Anne-Marie has over 20 years of experience teaching and working with children. She has acquired a Child Development Associate CDA and participated in several workshops, trainings and conferences on early childhood education. Previously, she worked in various early childhood education programs including at YMCA in downtown Seattle and at North Seattle French School as a petite section teacher assistant from 2015 to 2017 and petite section teacher in 2017-2018 . Since 2018, she has been a substitute teacher at NSFS. Anne-Marie is a board member and volunteer at Washington Squash Academy (WESA) where they offer after school programs (tutoring, squash practice and community service) for underprivileged kids from 8th grade all the way to High School. Anne-Marie likes to spend most of the summer in France with her family. During her free time, she likes going to the gym, walking her two small dogs and exploring the Seattle area with her friends. As a Seattleite, she enjoys a great cup of coffee.
