Pauline was born and raised in Paris. She taught mathematics and physics to elementary-age students while working on her master’s in environmental science, and then worked as a city planner for 13 years in both the public and private sectors. She also completed the first two levels of a French youth work certificate (BAFA) and worked in early childhood education for two summers. Since moving to Seattle with her family, Pauline has instructed her eldest son in French curriculum standards while he attends public school. She initially joined NSFS in 2017 as a classroom volunteer, before becoming a preschool teacher. Pauline loves the Seattle area and enjoys skiing in winter and canoeing and swimming in mountain lakes in summer.
