Pauline was born and raised in Paris, France. She taught mathematics and physics to children in elementary schools while working on her master’s in environmental science. She worked as a city planner for 13 years in both public and private sectors. She also completed the first two levels of a French youth work certificate (BAFA) and worked two summers in a daycare with toddlers.
Pauline has lived in Seattle with her family for almost 2 years. Since moving to the US, Pauline has instructed her eldest son in French curriculum standards while he also attends public school. During the 2017-2018 school year, she volunteered at the North Seattle French School every Thursday morning in the CP and Petite Section classes. Pauline loves being in Seattle and enjoys skiing in winter and canoeing and swimming in mountain lakes in summer. She is very excited to join the NSFS team and continue working in childhood development and education in a bilingual context.
