Sarah’s teaching career has focused on bilingual education and inquiry-based learning, and her goal is to guide students to become creative and engaged global citizens. Prior to joining NSFS, Sarah taught in Canada, France, and Israel, where she piloted a bilingual kindergarten program. She has taught every grade from K-6, in both English and French, at independent and public schools. Sarah completed her teaching certification at the University of Windsor, where she earned qualifications in elementary education, French as a second language and inquiry-based mathematics. She also holds a BA in Political Science from Concordia University in Montreal. Sarah grew up in San Diego but she’s since lived in Italy, Prague, Paris, Montreal, Toronto and Israel. Now in her 3rd year at NSFS, Sarah loves exploring the Pacific Northwest with her Israeli husband, Ben.
